This character is played by summerrain, who also plays Acacia and Galax
Aster M. Leiland
Name: Aster Madeleine Leiland
Nickname: Aster, Ash
Age: 17
Gender: female
Sexuality: heterosexual
Pets: Abby the female rottweiler
Family: identical twin Acacia, fraternal brother Galax
Job:
Looks: Aster looks much like her sister, prizing her bikini body she's kept since joining the soccer team. She is 5'10, tall like her sister, and slender. Flat stomach, curved hips, toned arms and legs, physically very similar to her sister. Her skin is well tanned, and she has the same bright blue eyes as her brother and sister. Her clothing choices tend to be more boyish, longer shorts and loose t-shirts. Her brown hair is kept in a short pixie cut, to keep it out of the way when she plays. She likes to keep things simple, forgoing the makeup and nail polish that her sister loves. However, Aster is usually the one who does Acacia's hair.
Personality: While Aster looks a lot like her sister, their personalities are very different. Aster is a soccer star, and takes the game very seriously. She doesn't like it when people bad-mouth her sport.
Aster is very protective of her identical sister, who is much more feminine than herself. She doesn't allow anyone to talk down to her sister, and is the one who always ends up in fights. More often than not she's in trouble for getting into a fist fight with some idiot who said something about her sister.
While Aster does have a violent streak, she has a soft side as well. She cares for her sister and brother, and she's a lot gentler when she's talking to or about them. She doesn't let very many people see her soft side. She is of the opinion that people will think less of her if she shows her soft heart.
Aster is a very proud girl, and doesn't want the opinions other people have of her to differ from what she wants them to see of herself. She can be very commanding when she wants to be, including on the soccer field. She's been told that she might as well apply for the Soccer Captain position, though she doesn't actually like being in charge of others. She likes to win, but she doesn't mind losing. She understands that not everyone winds everything all the time.
History: Aster was born the eldest of the triplets, by a good ten minutes. The triplets were born and raised in the little town of Sterling Woods, and were always together from birth. They were rarely seen apart, and the two girls were identical. Aster always preferred going to play outside, while her sister Acacia liked playing with dolls more. Galax, on the other hand, seemed to just want to please his sisters. He was always helping them, being the smartest of the three, whenever they needed help with homework. Aster was the one who would play with the neighborhood boys, enjoying their rougher games over playing house with her sister.
They spent much time in the same class, from kindergarten into middle school. Starting in sixth grade, the triplets began to show their individual differences. Aster joined the soccer team, while Galax began to look at more advanced science and math classes. Acacia became more interested in the arts. The triplets were still close, and could always be seen walking home together. When Aster had soccer practice after school, her brother and sister would wait for her.
In eighth grade, Acacia's mom's friend's dog had puppies, and the family took in one. A rottweiler puppy they named Abbie. Together, the triplets trained and raised her. Abbie took to Acacia more than the other two, though. Aster wasn't all that bothered by it, truthfully, since she had her hands full with the soccer team.
Of course, things were harder with the level of pollution in the air. They had to wear masks to and from school, and the air purifiers for the house were expensive. Eventually, their parents got a letter saying they were going to be sent on the Aries to colonize a new planet, known as Sanctuary, and that they needed training for the trip. The five of them took the training, and even Abbie was allowed to come with them.
They boarded the ship just after the triplets turned seventeen, under the belief that they would all be put into a hypersleep state once they left the solar system. However, they got caught by the gravitational pull of a black hole. No, Wyrmhole. Who knows what will happen next?
